Zonguldak’ın Çaycuma ilçesinin kardeş kenti olan Almanya’nın Lennestadt kentinden gelen 14 kişilik Lennestadt Sekundarschule Hundem Lenne okulu heyeti, Çaycuma Belediyesini ziyaret etti.
Almanya’daki kardeş kent Lennestadt Sekandarshule Hundem Lenne okulundan, Nihat Kantarcı Anadolu Lisesinin konuğu olarak gelen heyet, Çaycuma Belediyesi Başkanı Bülent Kantarcı’yı ziyaret etti. 11 öğrenci 3 öğretmenden oluşan konuklarını Çaycuma Belediye Meclisi Salonu’nda ağırlayan Başkan Kantarcı, “Hepinize çok teşekkür ediyorum. Bu ziyaretten çok büyük memnuniyet duydum. Burada bulunduğunuz süre zarfında hoşça vakit geçirmenizi ve güzel anılarla dönmenizi diliyorum.” dedi.
Dostluğu ve kardeşliği sürdürün
Alman ve onlara eşlik eden Çaycumalı öğrencilerle sohbet eden Başkan Kantarcı, devam eden Rusya-Ukrayna Savaşı nedeniyle karşı kamplarda olan iki ülke çocuklarının Çaycuma’da birlikte şenlik yapmasının güzelliğini de anlattı. Tüm bu çalışmaların dünya barışına mütevazı katkılar sunduğunu da dile getiren Kantarcı, öğrencilerden, döndükten sonra da buradaki dostluğu, kardeşliği sürdürmelerini beklediğini de ifade etti.
